Gli animali non ridono perché, a differenza nostra, non hanno bisogno di giustificare l'assurdità della vita. Quando un cane scivola su una buccia di banana, non si fa una risata amara: semplicemente accetta che la gravità ha vinto. Noi ridiamo perché siamo complicati. 

I neonati ridono perché sanno qualcosa che noi abbiamo dimenticato. Tipo: "Ehi, la vita è assurda, ma in questo momento va tutto bene". Non sono complicati, sono saggi in modo spaventoso. Ridono perché capiscono che per complicarsi c'è sempre tempo, tanto poi diventiamo adulti.

Si può ridere di tutto, ma c’è un trucco: devi sapere quando e come farlo. È come camminare su un filo teso sopra un vulcano attivo. Se lo fai bene, sembri un genio; se lo fai male, ti bruci. Alcuni argomenti sono come maneggiare dinamite, meglio avere il giusto tempismo o si esplode. 

Beh, la morte è un classico esempio: puoi farci battute solo se non sei tu quello nella bara. Le malattie? Sì, ma con la delicatezza di un ninja ubriaco. La religione? Certo, se ti piace giocare alla roulette russa con i fulmini divini. E poi c'è la politica... ma lì il rischio è che la battuta sia meno assurda della realtà.

Assolutamente sì! Ridere di te stesso è come battere il boss finale con una padella: non solo vinci, ma lo fai con stile. Se non puoi ridere di te, allora chi può? Certo, richiede un po’ di umiltà e parecchio coraggio, ma è il modo migliore per ricordarti che, alla fine, sei solo uno spettacolo comico ambulante.

Babies laugh because they know something we’ve forgotten. Like, "Hey, life’s absurd, but right now everything’s fine." They’re not complicated, they’re scarily wise. They laugh because they get that there’s plenty of time to complicate things—once they grow up.

You can laugh at everything, but here’s the trick: you need to know when and how. It’s like walking a tightrope over an active volcano. Do it right, you look like a genius; do it wrong, you burn. Some topics are like handling dynamite—timing’s key, or you blow up. 

Well, death is a classic: you can joke about it, but only if you’re not the one in the coffin. Diseases? Sure, with the finesse of a drunk ninja. Religion? Go ahead, if you like playing Russian roulette with divine lightning. And then there’s politics... but there, the joke’s often less absurd than reality.

Absolutely! Laughing at yourself is like beating the final boss with a frying pan: not only do you win, but you do it in style. If you can’t laugh at yourself, who can? Sure, it takes a little humility and a lot of courage, but it’s the best way to remember that, in the end, you’re just a walking comedy show.
